| Paul Van Sickle's love for the drums started when he was a baby. At age 3 he was given his first drum set - a Fisher Price toy drum set - for Christmas. That was destroyed in a matter of weeks. So it was only a matter of time before Paul would end up in his elementary shcool's band with a snare drum and set of bells. Since 1992 Paul has been studying and performing percussion. Playing with the Olathe East marching band and drum line led to a music scholarship at MidAmerica Nazarene University where he played with Concert and Pep bands for 4 years. He then traveled as the drummer for MNU's PR Group "Assurance." Assurance traveled around the Midwest playing at churches and camps, even opening for the Christian pop group "True Vibe." Paul has performed and recorded with several bands over the years. He continues to play on his church's worship team and is regularly asked to play at other area churches. |
